WTB: Spector Euro 5LX

Well, it's too late for that regardless. It was sent out of the warehouse and will likely arrive today. Should be interesting to hear how it compares with the maple topped models I've got clips of. I've got my fingers crossed it'll still be largely usable, as the maple models are very bright and hi-fi.

Shame about the necks then. Hopefully we can sort that kink out with the Strictly 7 guys. We've been drafting up Simone's signature bass for a few weeks, and we've arrived at something fairly similar to the 5 LX, so hopefully the guys can reduce the neck profile and make it more BTB-ish.

Organized a replacement. Tried to get a Spalted Maple, but they're all out of those.

That's with the factory strings, no set-up etc. Came set up pretty close to Bb out of the box. Curious how some DC40s and steel stringers will affect the tone.

For the gloss crack, imho, the bass has fell backward when it was standing up.

I thinks EOS 550d/kiss X4, with the kit lens 18-55, thanks to the exif data, on the previous photo of this thread.

Yep that data is correct. Bit of color/saturation altering, unsharp masking, topaz denoise and topaz adjust for some contrast weirdness.

I actually wasn't very happy with the shot. Couldn't find a good spot in the house to take it. This room was too dark everywhere so at my slow shutter speeds every shot was blurry, outside it was just too messy and lit weirdly . I'll try again when the replacement gets here. Really wanna highlight that burl.
