wtf, Arctic Monkeys!

I never heard of the band prior to like 2 minutes ago, and just out of interest I searched the band on youtube and it took like 5 seconds in the video to get me totally hooked:



edit: I also noticed a very nice thing in the video; The guitar is actually single tracked and hardpanned right and the distortion on the bass is hardpanned to the left, but the low end is on the middle.

Their first album is a work of fucking GENIUS. One of the best rock albums ever, imo. Judging by the 30sec samples on iTunes all subsequent albums are unfortunately complete shit.

How can you not love this?!

I really liked their first album, or at least the first one that was commercially released, but yeah, since then they haven't been able to hold my attention. I do like the song in the OP though (it's a shame that album was such a let down after that being the first single).

Well, personnally, I don't love this one.

I'm really not into all this kind of current rock. It doesn't rock n roll at all to my ears, doesn't give me energy.

The song of Anssi's post sounds good to me though
