This is actually some pretty good slam imo. The vocals on that album are really creative compared to the rest of the genre, especially in the song Consummating Omophagia. Slam certainly isn't for everyone though.

I'd think the newer death/grind (disregarding brutal death metal totally, which is constantly lumped in with death/grind) sound is more Rotten Sound, Pig Destroyer, Nasum, and maybe Total Fucking Destruction.
