Not in the U.S. An SM7 is $50 cheaper than an RE20.

that's what I was thinking..

in the UK - the 4040 is £150, and the SM7 is nearer £400.

In the US, AT4040 is $300 and sm7b is $350

i just looked at my sm7b and it's made in mexico. i thought that's pretty funny for some reason.
