The Heavy Metal Appreciation Society (HMAS in short) is a webzine and community focusing on all aspects of hardrock/metal and beyond. Our community includes official forums for 17 bands right now, including swedish death metal legends Dismember, Disarmonia Mundi, Nightrage, Thyrfing, Old Man's Child, Moonsorrow and of course the mighty Dissection.
The webzine portion of our society has recently been revamped and we are now making a powerful commitment towards making HMAS a force to the reckoned with in the future. We have a competent staff of writers with years of experience and our hope is to take HMAS to the absolute top.
