Wyvern...Can We Talk?

I get the feeling that bands fear the Third World, mainly because Third World people are mostly cannibals and savages. A lot of them are hideous and stupid due to inbreeding and lack of television. You also stand a good chance of getting shot in the head, hi - jacked, robbed or being malled by an elephant on the way to the hotel/gig. You can't even think of drinking the water, breathing the air will put you in quarantene for at least a month and never ever ask what you just had eaten, trust me, you don't wanna know.
Be afraid
Be very afraid.

I hope your kidding with this post and not being racist...

Ah shut up UM :tickled: Even Rata Blanca plays in New York. I guess the problem in NY it's not that bands don't show but the traffic to get to a gig is a killer

Next time we do have to tag along ;)

i never heard of Rata Blanca... as for NY shows.. i havent been to one in years... im going to Emperor this year.. my first show.. i feel like a newbie lol ...

Italy, Hungary, probably Austria, that's it I suppose...
We'd have to travel at least 15 hrs or so to any larger German city. ;)

Sorry, I am an American, and in case you haven't heard, European geography is not one of our stronger studied courses in school.:D

Man, that takes a lot of dedication and effort to do that stuff. You are f&%$#@$ Metal!!!:headbang:

And here I was pitching a bitch-fit because I drove 12 hours each way to the Progpower show last time. It puts things in perspective.

Perspective is everything. When I was living in US there was a Motorhead/Iron Maiden/Dio gig near Sacramento, CA. I was in Reno, NV so it was around 2.5 h trip, but since I didn't have a car be as well be 2.5 l-y. Moreover in here 2.5 h puts you in any of our coasts, so I thought it was too long a trip o_O

Perspective is everything :D

Im stuck in a hard place being in between Cincy and Chicago when it
comes to national and INTL metal acts but I usually try to go to local
metal shows and show my love to the Indiana metal community.

Yeah, I know...
I'm not sure I could find let's say Wyoming that easily. Wait a minute...it doesn't exist, does it? :tickled:

Damn right I am! :headbang:
But to tell you the truth, nothing beats the long travels and the laughter that goes on during the travelling, it's the best part of it all...

Hell, I would bitch about it as well if I usually had to drive less than half an hour to the show. Hell, I bitch about it now as well, but there's nothing I can do about it (other than move to some EU country's capital), so I guess all I'm left with is - bitching! :D

kittybeastmaybe we should start a UMOS house trading event. 1 week a year we swap homes.....[/quote said:

In looking at all those beautiful pictures of forests, birds, waterfalls, oceans and such I'd be a happy camper to get away from this concrete jungle! As of late all my vacation time goes into concerts...not a bad way to relax either!:headbang:
