Xerath is a new cutting edge band combining crushing meshuggah style riffs with epic orchestral composition. Their sound can be described as taking influence from Strapping young lad, Meshuggah and Dimmu Borgir to create a distinctive sound they call "orchestral groove metal" (or chug-score!)

They have an amazing rendition of YYZ. I love everything about this band musically, but for some reason his vocals aren't quite grabbing me just yet. I'm sure it'll sink in for me with a few more listens.

Do these guys have an album out? Every time I hear a new badass band with this Meshuggah influence they only seem to have EPs out and are long ways away from releasing a full length.
