i just looked at my coworker and said 'do you go to the beach to kill things?' and she said 'jesus christ amanda all the people you know are fucked up.'
what was the weather in maine like? the one time i went in summer it was awesome, like 60 degrees. but that was like 10 minutes from canada in caribou, me.
it was great--sunny and clear and kind of hot (but not at all humid) most days, and gray and bright on Sunday. maine is awesome because it's rarely too hot and you have an icy ocean to wade in if it verges on blazin'.
if family were of no concern, i would gladly move someplace non-humid and uncongested. at this point, all i can hope for is a nice, quiet retirement locale.
my awesome friend is in his house in maine for two weeks. the house looks like it's teetering on the water on this cliff. it's so close. i love it.
i would live in maine if i thought i could make a living there.
i just also met two guys that live in this teeny island off of new hampshire? lucky bastards.
