I quite like the song actually, but it seems that Spencer has a good voice but has a ridiculous amount of tuning.... which puts me off quite a bit, at least it seemed to me, but cool song and cool video

He doesn't make those notes look easy, that's for sure.

But I like the vid. I prefer this version to the album. I think many times when bands substitute the growls with clean vocals they fail big time. But Periphery did very good on this one.

Jesus... He's off pitch 90% of the time there :yow:

Their drummer has a cool style though, very very fluid and concise!

Dear god... I knew Spencer was awful life, but that video just... fucking hell. God awful. Harmonies via backing tracks would help a lot, but he needs replacement ASAP.

Hilarious contrasting this with Dan from TesseracT, who is nearly impossible to get off pitch.

I dig the video. I guess I prefer his sappy singing to his sucky screaming, but ever since Bulb fired Jake Veredika (a long time ago), Periphery's vocals have really gone downhill (IMO of course).

Regarding that live clip above of Jetpack was Yes!, surely the band was having an off night or something  Bulb was pretty goddamn sloppy on that solo too, geezus.
When I saw the band live, Spencer was fairly good. Not dead on every time, but hardly terrible either.
As for the rest of the band, virtually flawless. None of that out of tune sloppy soloing like I heard in that video, Bulb played all the leads flawlessly and effortlessly, and the band was just so tight and completely with it.
I just can't really imagine a band of this caliber would be consistently off in the live domain, unless perhaps it's just Spender that has more more off nights, while the rest of the band is generally spot on almost every show.
