YES!

Wow. Yes was the band that got me into rock then metal. I remember how when I was 8 my mom brought home a bunch of records she got from a neighbor that got rid of vinyls. One of them was Drama. That album became pretty much the soundtrack of my childhood. Sure, not all the classic Yes line-up is there but I think it's a hugely underrated album!

I'm also very much into The Ladder, Fragile, Close to the Edge, and their 80's era albums.

I should give the new ones and Magnification a chance.

IMO it's one of the cases where the album artwork can make an album's vision and atmosphere truly "complete".

Just ordered 'The Yes Album' & 'Close to the edge' on CD (Remastered Editions). I wasn´t sure first, Vinyl or not...but I like to listen to it on my phone & computer, too. Yes seems to be a band who attach great value to artworks, what I totally dig!! So just downloading it on Amazon is not an option for me.

I tend to agree with you :) Loving the artworks made for 'Fragile'

Okay..dived deep into "The Yes Album" and "Close to the Edge". Holy shit, what have I missed all the years?? :( Or shall I be thankful that at least NOW I´ve started to listen to them? Goosebumps by listening to the title track, the Organ killed me (you know what I mean) EPIC! "Total Mass Retain" also is awesome. What a groove! I also recognized a lot of influences added by bands like DT or Sieges Even (no wonder).

Omg loving it! Youtube quality isn´t the best, but you´ll recognize awesome music when you hear it, I guess :)
