I totally boycotted the show.

DiAnno comes here like at least once a year to make money of old Maiden songs. The drummer from my band Consecration played with him. It was like a jam session kind of thing. Serbian metal musicians playing old maiden songs and dianno singing.

Max's daughter is married to a Serbian guy and lives here, they run roadrunner distribution in this region. Max is also here like every six months. Soulfly played the EXIT fest last year (www.existfest.org) it's a really good festival, one of the best in Europe, especially for electronic music, I think MTV2 and BBC will be broadcasting it this year, and my band is playing on one of the stages no one cares about.

He also had a similiar jam session last year too. (Serbian metal dudes playing soulfly and sepultura songs with him.)

Serbia is a bastion for washed-up metal icons.
