BTW, I got some bad news last night I got a call from Critical Path's original drummer's mom last night telling me that Damon passed away on Saturday :-((((((((((((( Apparently he died from complications from pnuemonia -- he was only 38 years old! I had just been in email contact with him back in February a few weeks before he ended up in the hospital. It really is strange, you just never expect these things to happen, but when it does, it really underscores the reality that we never know when our time is up.

Damon was truly one-of-kind!!! And I know that I, along with Dave and Ron, will always miss him! He was a great person and always kept us laughing. And while his skill didn't necessarily match what we were looking for, his heart and dependability did! He drove 90 miles twice a week (sometimes three) to band practice and he never complained. When we practiced, he would sit behind that kit the entire time - hardly taking a break for the entire practice session!!! And we all remained friends after he and the band parted ways. He was even planning on coming to the Sonata Arctica show to support Ron and I -- I know that he'll still be there in spirit!
