yo XFER

I have no idea! I've never had it. I'm supposed to be making both ziegenfuss and chicken divan this weekend but I'm not that interested in chicken divan beacuse it has mayonnaise in it. It's supposed to be real good anyway (or so says another guy I know who hates mayonnaise), but ugh. Ziegenfuss, though, is really good and I'm looking forward to making it.

The name of Chicken divan is not very appealing... Chicken couch?!? Anyway it looks like the same thing as Chicken Florentine so google it and choose the best looking one. And it should not have any mayo in it...

I have really no idea what chicken divan is. The only description I can get from my friend right now "it's so good. omg. it's so good."

Ziegenfuss is kind of hard to explain and I suck at describing foods, but it's uh.. it's kind of like a crescent roll with chicken and onions and broccoli (I think?) and cheese in it. I thought you might have made them before so I wanted to swap recipes. I can post the recipe when I get home or whatever if you want to make it. I think it's an eastern European food.

actually, i used to make bread like 3x a week in high school, but i'm not counting it because i used one of those breadmaking machines (which, incidentally, rock).

rye bread and pizza bread (oregano and basil and thyme, with a little bit of tomato and parmesan cheese thrown in) were my specialties!

also peanut butter bread!

Bread is actually pretty easy to make. It is following the rules that sucks and finding consistent yeast. I am not very good at making stuff where I have to measure everything. I am more of a freelancer :)

yes, exactly. that's one reason i never verged into baking. also, i'm always cooking for myself and homemade bread goes stale FAST if you don't eat it all right away.
