anathema (alternative 4, judgement and A fine day...)

katatonia (last fair deal..)
Opeth (I only have BWP, SL ans Deliv.. so far)
porcupine tree (I want to check these guys aout too hard it find though)
RADIOHEAD( I recommend all their albums except Pablo Honey)

Theatre of Tragedy (Aegis rules)
the gathering (everything from Mandylion onwards the new stuff is fab)

Thes are the ones I listen to off your list, all great
Try Novembre also!

>>anathema, katatonia, the gathering, within temptation

Based on you liking these, try October Tide (Katatonia side project), Lacuna Coil, Beseech, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride.

>>Opeth

Based on this and the above bands, In The Woods... might be worth checking out

>>tristania

If you don't have the album by Sirenia, go buy it now (written by the same guy) :D

>>andres segovia

I prefer Julian Bream over Segovia, Eduardo Fernandez is ok too.

I concur with many others who agree that Pain of Salvation are a band that all intelligent metal appreciators should be listening to, they are absolutely amazing IMO and recommend checking them out by starting with THE PERFECT ELEMENT part 1 (although all their albums are of the highest musical value)

Enjoy;)
