Well, I thought my forum days were behind me, but I really wanted to drop by and tell you what a blessing your music has been to me.

I was a Christian metal band frontman in the '80s and have yearned for good Christian metal bands to listen to. So when I discovered your music a couple years ago, I was ecstatic. Your boldness in proclaiming the Gospel is refreshing and inspirational. I also love how you are not afraid to tackle tough issues.

Matt, your lyrical skills and soaring vocals are a true blessing from God. And Val, Jon, Jared and Shawn are top-notch musicians, too! You're my favorite band hands down. So, thank you.

Stay bold, never compromise, and God bless you!

It's nice when this kind of stuff comes up. I don't think Theocracy realizes how good they actually are.

I couldn't agree more! I was blow away the first time I heard Theocracy on Youtube, and I'm still in awe. Their music just gets better with every listen.

Theocracy is an absolute blessing...and are my favorite band too *VBS*!

They're amazing. Hopefully they will read my post and find it encouraging. We could all use more Barnabases in our lives. :)

Thanks for posting, guys! Glad I'm not the only one who has been blessed by their music.

Thank you, The Parson, and everyone else who has been blessed by Theocracy's music. I appreciate so much that you took the time to post. Encouragers are rare these days, but needed more than ever. I think sometimes we underestimate the power that a positive word has. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver (Proverbs 25:11).

May God bless each of YOU!

You are so right Parson. It is rare to come across such high quality music and musicians, and God has truly brought you all together to bless not only me, but countless others. Matt still leaves me awestruck with the quality of his lyrics - an amazing story teller and songwriter. Obviously it's hard here in Australia to find any decent music, let alone metal, and as someone said earlier, it was on youtube that I first found the guys. I remember it was Bethlehem, and I could not believe the quality of the song. Thank God for itunes - yeah I said it!- so that I was able to purchase Mirror and ATWB. In any case, I am constantly pushing you guys on everyone I come across and the response is nothing short of amazing.
Anyway, yeah I'm blabbering like a 13 year old starstruck girl, sadly I'm a 36 year old man! Still, I'm a muso and I can do nothing but stand back and appreciate your gift, Thanks ALL of the you for your passion and using your gifts in such a way that I genuinely am blessed EVERY day by listening to you.

Theocracy has been a huge blessing to me as well. The lyrics help me keep that vertical relationship going while the music is just awesome.

As an aside, when I run the soundboard at church, I try to sneak in some of their more "ambiance friendly" songs during before/after service & fellowship time. :)
