You just don't hear bands doing Edge of Sanity covers very often...

Saw Noumena last night here in Vaasa... Cool band. I'd never heard their stuff before (cheap concert, they're on Spikefarm so it's some sort of metal, I don't get out much, and the worst they can do is suck, right?) and I was pleasantly surprised... good midpaced straight up headbanging heavy/death metal with, no keyboards or HIMmy/gothy/whiny shit as is often the case with Finnish bands... anyway, they did 15:36 (and it didn't sound out of place at all in their set)...

Funny, they had woman up there singing for a couple songs (the lead vocalist is 100% a growler) and she'd always just sing in the calmer sections... but for 15:36 she did all the clean vocals parts and really went for it... funny hearing those Swanö melodies coming out of someone else's mouth.
