So far I have been disappointed by more releases than I have been impressed by. The albums I thus far really like are Blut Aus Nord's "777 Sect(s)" and Altar of Plague's "Mammal". Burzum's "Fallen" is good, but a major step down from "Belus".

There is still a ton I need to hear and some of the most promising albums are still to come, so its too soon to tell really.

They have already mentioned that they are returning to their old style for the new album and the style on handful of stars is going to be continued in a new side project called old silver key with niege from alcest and a few other guys.

If that's the case then I'll give it a listen, the new style is so fucking ZZZZzzzzz and reeks of them trying to cash in on what's currently cool with the stupid post-rock esque crap.
