What do you think about this year of metal? I think it has been really good, even though some bands have dissapointed me. Anyway here are my favorites:
Moonsorrow: Varjoina Kuljemme Kuolleiden Maassa (one of the best I've ever heard)
Belphegor: Blood Magick Necromance
Samael: Lux Mundi
Entrails: The Tomb Awaits (old school swedish death at it's finest)
Septic Flesh: The Great Mass (amazing use of orchestras)
Fleshgod Apocalypse: Agony
Essence: Lost In Violence (great trash metal from denmark, should get alot more of attention)
Lifelover: Sjukdom (terrible that B died and they split up after this, would have wanted alot more releases from this band)
Anaal Nathrakh: Passion (dissapointing in one way since it's not as good as their last, but hey, it still sounds great)
Decapitated: Carnival is Forever (very underrated imo)
Vomitory: Opus Mortis VIII
Obscura: Omnivium
Thulcandra: Under a Frozen Sun
