So now that there's the song survivor thread coming back to life, let's do another fav. Bodom album thread.

My suggestion is to rate every song for its own on a scale of 10, count everything together and divide it through the number of the songs, the overall mixing (know the difference between mixing and mastering), creativity/diversity

For example Hexed has average rating of 6. Plus 1 for mixing (great overall tone), -1 for creativity. So its a 6/10.

The 4 albums that stand above everything else for me are HCD, Hexed, FTR and BD. If I had to pick THE best, it would probably be HCD.

Since I have no knowledge about creating music (I actually dont know the difference between mix and master), Im simply gonna use the vote feature. But its going to be interesting to read the results of others with a musician background.

I used to think that AYDY was better than RRF but now this changed and I can't stand the overall sound of AYDY, that old hospital atmosphere.

Always hard to tell but :

FTR (atmosphere & mood)
SW (raw, dark)
HCDR (drastic change in music style)
HoB (interestingly self-sufficient and well produced)
RRF (many great songs)

HB (great classic songs but never liked the production, usually listen to Tokyo Warheart more instead)
AYDY (some great riffs, but meh... Easily their worst album when it came out)
IWC (an ok album)

BD (the album that made AYDY sound almost interesting cause it was even worse)
Hexed (i world need more time to be more objective, but apart for a few riffs i didn't enjoy it that much)
