for now, let's just say, my favorite ballad of all times is The Wall by Kansas...
Closely followed by songs such as "Lady Of The Snow", "Lullaby" by Zebra, "Honestly" by Harem Scarem, "I'll See You In My Dreams' by Giant, "Silent Lucidity", "London" and "I Will Remember" by Queensryche....

This list could go on, but my favorite ballads are mainly from the AOR genre (you know, the "cheesy" stuff )
