Your favourite 1 x 12?

Hello

I'm going to be building a couple of 1 x 12 cab's to go with a modded Laney LC15 (basically I'm going to mod the pre-amp to be more like a JCM800).
I'm going to build a cab with a V30 and another with a G12T-75.
At the moment I'm looking at using the Mesa Rectifier cabinet as a basis for the dimensions. I haven't had the chance to use one before so I want to know what your thoughts are on this cab? and what other 1 x 12's you rate?

If you're planning on making more than one I'd advise going the 2x12 route instead. It'll sound better and you'll get a more useable metal tone than with a 1x12.

The theory behind 2 cabinets is that towards the end of this year/ or next I'll be building an amp. It'll be similar (physical) size to the Laney. Then I can easily do stereo. I don't like "stereo" coming out of the same cabinet (it defeats the object of it)

I prefer a completely sealed cabinet for guitar. I find that the low end loses it's tightness when you add ports.
