Your first concert experience. When? Where? What band/s?

My first concert was in 1989. It was Living Colour, Guns N' Roses, and The Rolling Stones at the Los Angeles Coliseum. We had the very back row, and it seats like a 100,000 or someshit. I went with my parents and my sister. My parents went for The Rolling Stones, and I went to see my favorite band at the time, Guns N' Roses (original line-up too!). I was in 6th grade at the time, around the same time I starting fucking around with the guitar. Axl was wearing these ass-less pants. I think I need to get a pair.

Last year, I saw Iron Maiden, Dio, and Motörhead at the Chronicle Pavilion. Went with a bunch of friends, and we missed Motörhead because one of them was late. We were in the front row of the lawn, which was way far back, but we had a pretty good view. We were all really into it... lots of fun.

My folks to me to see Frank Zappa in 1980. I was three years old. After that I saw the Grateful Dead with my folks about 20 times in the next 5 years. My parents were super hippies.

Faith No More & Billy Idol..

Went with my sister. It was her B-day present. I fell asleep when billy came out on stage.

FNM was really funny, they cracked all kinds of jokes, and played funny songs, like the Nestle Alpine White commercial.(anyone remember that?)

Unless you count Stomp my first concert was about 3 years ago. Opener was Kings X and headliners were Dream Theater and then Joe Satriani. Joe is such a freaking pimp, but I can't stand when he sings. More than half of the shows I have seen were Vehemence shows.

Edmonton Alberta I think it was 1999, It was Pantera's last tour They played a long ass set to because Morbid Angel didnt make it to the show. So it was just Pantera and some band called Skrape. The place was just packed to shit and Pantera delivered damn good show.

Guns N Roses/Metallica tour 8/25/92 Phoenix, Arizona Phoenix International Raceway This show basically made me, forced me to pick up a guitar, and start playing heavy metal. Growing up, I did listen to Rap, Alternative, anything I saw on much music and The Box, but I always wanted to hear something faster, harder, and heavier. First Death Metal show I saw was Deicide/Phobia/Excessive Bleeding/Tho Ko Losi (KC from Brides of Christ's old band) at the Nile Theater top stage, in Mesa, AZ like in 1997.

My seat really sucked and an incompetent oaf at the merch stand screwed me out of 30 or 40 bucks so I walked away with no t-shirt (looking back now, I don't really care, but I was really pissed at the time). Even so, I still got to see my favorite band and it was great
