i think my progression was a bit strange...

well, I first discovered death metal when I was 4, actually it was extreme gore metal stuff like exhumed, suffocation, mortician, gutrot, rotting bloody cunt lips, stuff like that. actually i didn't discover RBCL till I was 5 but that's another story.

then from the ages of 7-10 I started moving to even more heavier music like creed, limp bizcuit, metallica, and hanson. Which I think probably had some effect on why I was a very violent child, this disturbingly brutal and gorey themed music was probably not good for my developing mind.

anyways then I moved into my sadopsychotic pagan ritualistic phase and I listened to a lot of Chumbawumba as well as a fair amount from french canadian songstress Celine Dion. It was her smash hit "My Heart Will Go On" that led me to discover Children of Bodom at the age of 50. I remember thinking to myself as I sat in the empty movie theater crying as the credits rolled past "that's it. music can not get any better than this, JESUS WHY?? WHYY?? WHY IS THIS IS SO GOOD OHH WHYY GOD WOULD YOU GIVE ONE PERSON THIS MUCH FUCKING TALENT". So i gave up on music for awhile.

But then when I was 16 years old, a cambodian crackwhore I was with put HCDR on the 8 track player and it was love at first sight. They had the melody of celine dion combined with the tubthumpin' of chumbawumba that flowed through my veins. From that moment on I knew that this was the music I was meant to hear.

Now a days I mostly listen to the blue man group.
