anyone know zeni geva?

they are a japanese band playing avant-metal-jazz, or something like that. Normally (especially for japanese artists) this means wacky and focus-less, but in this case the band is quite structured and creative. the dual guitars make really interesting, half-melodic-half-dischordant harmonies. i have four of their albums, the last two being the best i think

reccomended to fans of Gorguts' obscura and other warped metal albums

well, before i bought my stuff i downloaded it from the GrindStuff hub on direct connect... im pretty sure the hub is public, but here's the address:

i suggest the albums 10,000 light years and freedom bondage. The former is their newest and best produced, but both are excellent (freedom bondage has a little more variety)

i like that they are very progressive and creative but dont need to resort to gimmicky instrumentation (sigh's latest release comes to mind there.. they are also japanese). beauty in structure!
