Man it´s been a awhile that I was thinking doing this shit. Believe it or not but I love my zoom to death when comes to high gain, I had a lot of shit, Ada mp1, rocktron, several pods, couple days ago I bought a digitech gsp 1101 and not a single one of them comes close to the awesomeness of the high gain of this zoom and I dont mean to record but to play with a cab.
The zoom gives a really saturared, warm, tight as fuck distortion without the fizzy frequencies of others processors, sounds probably a bit too much saturated and lacks some "air" but works wonders for metal IMO.
Anyway, today I tested the zoom with some impulses and I think this is quite usable.

Excuse my sloopy playing but practicing is not my strong my point, well this was just for fun also and just to test the sound.
Anyway, almost no processing at all, apart from LPF and HPF
With more time I have to try this shit in a mix.
