Amazing jazz albums

Oh, Bill Dixon.....have you checked out Envoi? His last recording, a few weeks before he died I believe. It came out last year. Not much like Dixon. Check out Poland's HERA or UNDIVIDED too...I linked a vid from Undivided a few pages back that I think you commented on. Ill try to find some vid stuff.

So far, liking the shit out of the recommendations. This is going to be a jazz heavy summer. And oddly, old school thrash, but mostly jazz

This is incredible. I should really take more of an interest in Jazz.. usually when I hear something I feel like I'm hearing a bunch of musicians playing the instruments to completely different songs.

No my fucking hard drive had a meltdown so ive been unable to properly sample things but I plan to invest serious listening this weekend
 
Goddamn. Catching up on what you've thrown out hear, Doomsniffer. Angles, Christ Lightcap is all good cool jazz, really digging the variety. Waclaw Zimpel is stellar, also liking the Adam Lane's FTO.
