I have never listened to Danava... but Witchcraft rocks. Think Petagram, and everybody that influenced Pentagram. Doubt I'll make it though. Lack of time.

Psychedelic sci-fi hard rockers DANAVA have announced U.S. tour dates in support of their debut album, Danava. The Portland, OR quartet will team up with Swedish doom/'70s-influenced unit WITCHCRAFT for a three week tour slated to launch on October 23rd in Seattle, WA. The trek is expected to conclude on November 16th in Minneapolis, MN with additional dates pending.

Just prior to the tour, Danava will play two special shows in the NYC area. The band will perform live at Brooklyn's Glassland Gallery on October 8th and at NYC's Mercury Lounge on October 9th.

Danava's self titled debut will drop on November 7th via Kemado Records. An eCard, which previews the entire new album and also features live performance videos, has been unveiled and can be accessed at this location.

The final track listing for Danava: 'By The Mark', 'Eyes In Disguise', 'Quiet Babies Astray In A Manger', 'Longdance' and 'Maudie Shook'.

The album was recorded at Portland's Suite 304 Studios with producer Johnny Jewel and was mastered at New York City's legendary R.E.M. Sound.
