Hey guys, I played the demo of a game to be released in February called "Dante's Inferno". Not sure if you heard of it yet, but damn does it look and play awesomely.

I haven't seen many games with far superior graphics in this genre.

i only care about the graphics because i really wasnt very impressed with the gameplay of the demo. if it looked purdy id at least buy it for that alone probably, because im superficial like that.
 
I played it on my PS3. It was alright , but it's such a God Of War ripoff I don't know how they got away with it . GOW 3 will kick this games ass all over the place.
 
By the way that protest was STAGED by EA, the company that made the game , at a gaming convention. Talk about lame...

HAHA love this guy's quote from a real church - my sentiments exactly -

"Gamers of all varieties will buy this product if its, well, actually a good game. So instead of engaging in a shamelessly anti-Christian stunt to promote your poor excuse of a product, maybe you ought to work on making this game, you know, something better than a blatant God of War rip-off and make it, ya know, something worthwhile?"
 
The demo sucked balls. It has the feeling of God of War but it doesn't get there by far. In God of War you get a kickass flow going on when fighting hordes of enemies. In Dantes Inferno you kind of wish every fight was over so you can continue on.

Yeah that's a good way of putting it. On the other hand the GOW 3 E3 demo is TITS.
 
That make me think though... What if you were an employee for EA and they paid you to appear as an omgimakelovetojesus-protester against them?

Lol, nah, the thing is I don't play many of these type of games and I was blown away! Shit, now I'll check out God of War since you're all saying its much better. I'll take your word for it hehe :) .

Definitely not the response I thought this game would get :loco:
That staged protest really lowered my already low impressions of EA. That's beyond shallow. Anyway, will be checking out GoW 3 once I get a PS3 myself haha.
 
Gross, EA is making this? Awful status confirmed, ugghh (though I guess Dead Space was cool, but overrated IMO)
 
EA isn't making it, just publishing it. A lot of EA's in house dev teams are good man. Bioware are published by EA, keep that in mind. And Valve for that matter.

And yeah same guys that made Dead Space, which isn't technically EA. :p
 
True, EA does only publish a lot of games, but that doesn't make the developers of those games in-house (Bioware and Valve most definitely are NOT), though with Dead Space, all the game ever said was "EA" in the opening bits, so that one I'm pretty sure was in-house. Of course, your post was a little unclear, I might be agreeing with you on every count here :D And Army of Two is another example of an EA-developed game that looked seriously awful

army of two DID suck, but yeah the dead space guys arent EA, they're like a dev house that's IN house. but yeah
