Good choices for Accept, Anthrax, Carcass, In Flames, Judas Priest, Megadeth (but only Tornado of Souls), Overkill and Skid Row.

Bad choices for Crimson Glory, King Diamond, Manowar, Megadeth (but only High Speed Dirt), Motorhead, Metal Church, Running Wild, Savatage, Slayer and Testament (especially Testament, good God, what were they thinking?).

Not enough of a connoisseur to comment on the rest. ;)

I'm not sure I get the reason why there's so many JP songs, but aside from this: yeah, I don't know many of the bands either. We're old. No, wait a minute. We're not. I'm confused.

I wouldn't get the game if they plugged in Ace of Spades or Overkill :D

Haven't heard DT yet, but I was playing for like 30 minutes since I got it on a release day. Uncharted 2 is taking up all my time... and Borderlands are out tomorrow :p With FIFA 10 =) Haha

The only reason I'm tempted to buy a P3, except I already know I'd never want to actually buy games before I'm sure I like them. So I'll remain un-uncharted and, well, a criminal. ;)

Uncharted 2 is like a movie, and it's not just about locations and action, but it's also about characters - they are hilarious :D Original Uncharted was great as well, although catacombs and jungle were a little tiring after some time. But Nathan and Co. - great as always. I don't know why they would make a movie about this game - it's already a movie.

It makes sense to have a new PS3 for blu-ray stuff even if you aren't going to use it as a gaming console (I buy most of games for my 360). They are not that expensive around here - $300 (120 GBs) and $350 (250 GBs coming in November) for the newest slim model.

And I'm pretty sure there will be an Uncharted 2 bundle eventually (they had a console for the same money with the first one). Highly recommended.

p.s. I got both games on the same day =)

Uncharted 2 rocked me. That whole game is so incredibly awesome. I was really pissed at first, since they dropped Elena, who is probably my single favorite female character in the history of video games, and gave us the slutty, alien-bodied Chloe instead. I am glad that that whole thing turned out the way that it.

It's probably the prettiest game I've ever played, and they really improved on the first one (which is funny, because that game was awesome). I like to think of both Uncharted's as everything that Gears of War does, but with a thousand more things. The combat is wonderful, the locations are beautiful (and absurd), and the banter is fantastic. Remember "There's a guy above you, there's a guy above you!"? I almost couldn't play after that.

I laughed myself off in first 15 minutes of gameplay, and zombie joke just killed :D

Speaking of Brutal Legend: it's kinda boring. Great setting, good music, but it's sorta meh. Also, I tried to find DT or IF tracks while driving (then you can switch music), but to no avail. Surprisingly - Skeletonwitch song came up (WOOOOT!!!) Maybe it will be unlocked further in the game as I'm on a Metal Queen mission (Brutal difficulty, so I progress slowly).

But it's all about Borderlands tonight :p

Cos Halford does one of the voices in the game.

As for the game itself, might be cool, unfortunately it turns into an RTS
and that don't sit well with me, so fuck it.
BL Video Review

As for PS3 and Uncharted 2, I was thinking of getting a PS3, but since I
will soon have a roomie, I won't have to, since he has one :headbang:
Borderlands looks boring as fuck: Borderlands Quick Look
I trust Giantbomb as if they were my saviors.

Brutal Legend is kinda boring BEFORE it turns into a strategy game.

Borderlands are awesome: it's Diablo with guns sort of :) Played a couple hours, still fun. Split-screen co-op coming up next =)

Wow. The track list for this game is simply amazing. The only thing its missing is some classic Maiden. It has the perfect mix of 80's metal to thrash metal to black metal. Every band on the soundtrack deserves it apart from Def Lep, and maybe Motley Crue. Other than that its amazing. I was especially happy to hear Metal Church ;]
