HOLY CRAP!!!! this band really rocks

This new Melodic metal band from Austria called SERENITY is frigging awesome, the best to describe it is: Sonata Arctica meets Circus Maximus, and ask Symphony X to join them on a few songs. You can really hear the SA influence especially the vocalist, you would swear it was Tony from SA, but that aside, it is really good Melodic Metal with lots of progressive overtures from 5 extremely talented guys. And they enlist the help of Lanvall from Edenbridge, and it was mixed at Finnovox studios by none other than Teropekka Virtanen(Nightwish) and mastered by Mika Jussila(Nightwish). This is one of those CDs that is to me like Glenn said of CM and Raintime. Give it a listen i know you will like it and want more.

l've had the demo Engraved Within for over a year. l have not been all that impressed with it. Haven't heard anything from the new one...hopefully they have stepped up their game.
