As for Insomnium.. I guess death metal just isn't as popular as it should be in Nashville. Nobody ever comes here.

You need to find a way to mix these genres.

I don't know. I grew up here in Nashville & never liked country. I'll grant the older country was much better, but even then it just seemed "canned" music. Of course there are some exceptions.. Johnny Cash for one. Also, bluegrass and Americana can be rather good. Modern country.. Just can't get into it, and living around here there is A LOT of it. On a positive note, Nashville is cool with all the artists living in the area. I've known a few, with two who have "made it" in the industry.
