hello :D

Im now about to finish an EP for some groove metal band... they inspired alot by machine head / Lamb of god stuff..

there's a clip of the final version of the mix :
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6028445/Canine/Betreyal-final-ver-c-b-fixedoz.mp3
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6028445/Canine/devidian-fm.mp3 - cover of machine head song

some info :
drums -
snare top & bottom - sm 57
kick - audio technica base drum mic (come from their basic set)
tom & floor - again some dyn mic from the AT set
oh - again pair of dyn mics for OH from the set
room - some unknown condenser

all brought to the legendery (NOT) helen&gerenth zed r16 ...
the equipment is very basic and low budget , but I love what came out eventually.

for the samples of the kick and the snare go to the other post Ive made :

Sounds good. I think the snare could have some more snap to it and a touch less verb though. Maybe even bring it down in the mix a few dB.

Near the end of that clip one of the guitars cuts out, is that supposed to happen or was that an accidental edit?
