OT but I was in metallicats neck of the woods recently

Last weekend in fact.

I spent a lovely 4 days in Bonnie Scotland visiting my aunt.
Given that I was just over the hill from the canny Scot I was going to go online and see if we could meet up, Jenna, my wife and me, but alas the hotel wanted £7 per hour for the internet and I was not going to pay that!

I'll be posting some photos of the scenery from t'otherside of the hill.
And I'll recount my efforts at conquering Dollar Glen!

Tillicoultry and Just outside Stirling at the holiday inn place near the big Morrisons (used to be Tesco when i was last there)
Oh and on top of Dollar Glen heh......nearly done myself in with that west glen climb.....it didnt seem as steep 21 years ago!


HolyCrap! I just found out that Dollar Glen Rises 918feet !!!!!!!

Superb photos - especially the one of the graveyard with the Wallace Monument in the background. Those are the wind turbines on the Ochil Hills. It's weird cos depending on the angle of the sun, sometimes you can see them really well and other days you can't see them at all.
