SHAKRA - High Noon

The Swiss hard rock band is back with a new album (to be released in January 2016). Singer from the last 2 albums, John Prakesh, quit last year, but former singer Mark Fox is back.

This is a band I'd like to see at ProgPower...

You didn't like the previous one? I thought the 2 albums with Prakesh on vox were excellent. In fact, even though I like Fox, I prefer Prakesh's voice. Too bad he left, but Fox coming back made sense.

No...I liked "Powerplay" quite well but there's something about the two new songs that I like that makes me think this one will be better. Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the meds I'm on for this damn head cold.

Was checking out this release today, very similar to Gotthard and/or Pretty Maids IMHO.

I started digging around for some background on these guys and came across this feature regarding the High Noon album, and the return of Mark Fox:
