yea, i was a little upset that there was no buying new soul or arriving, but wasnt that bothered by it.. ive seen them play both those songs b4 and they are on the dvd... It was nice to hear some diff tunes.. lightbulb sun and sever were real treats.. stevens guitar went dead during lightbulb...

Just got back from an awesome PT show in Toronto. The guys were awesome and played a set of the new album stuff and a set of the older stuff!! Setlist: (from what i remember) first set: Fear of a blank planet my ashes anesthetize sentimental way out of here sleep together...

man, id kill for some accurate tabs finally.. there are so many shitty opeth tabs out there, ive had to correct a ton of them by ear just so they sound right.. Cant wait for this release, and am super happy its getting checked over by the almighty!

agreed.. ppl get all pissed off about bands when they apparantly "sell out" and shit, and many reasons for bands selling out is that they become more and more immersed with the media.. fuck they are musicians that are making music in which the sole purpose is for fans to listen to what they...

im a history major and have studied a lot of medieval art as well. I like alot of this stuff as it really does represent the darker side of life in which metal certainly pertains too. A lot of the old roots of paganism and witchcraft subjects have some dark art that accompany them as well...

i agree.. I like listening to metal as a guitarist because some music i find is just so damn boring (pop especially). When you listen to so much repetitive music you start to get really bored with it. I like the fact that I can listen to a 10 minute song and not find it boring at all, b/c with...

why? you cant force anyone to like something if they aren't interested. It would be nice if the world were like that but unfortunately it isn't. Don't bother yourself with it.
