i don't think anyone can specifically pin point what has become bad about in flames??

c'mon man you must be really prejudiced against mustaine to say such a thing.... in my darkest hour, symphony of destruction, trust aren't they good??:p

i think all of us would agree that alexi is a bad vocalist and lyricist when compared to someone like anders friden, bjorn strid or dave mustaine...:yuk:

yeah ! i think he shoul hire a good vocalist for the band ....just that his ego wouldn't allow that..:yell:

what is it in particular that you dislike?? anders' transition from death growls to high pitch screams? or something about how they play their music?

isn't the sort of music IF make nowadays, what every other band is headed towards? and what is so particularly bad about it???

i don't seem to dislike what In Flames have come to become ....however most fans seem to be too obsessed with their old songs to like their new ones.....:bah:

My favorite melodic death metal song is 'Nerve' by Soilwork from the album Stabbing the drama......i know a lot of you didn't like the album......btw one of the reasons i started this thread is to get a lot of cool suggestions by getting to know everybody's favourite songs....

well Roope better than Alexi is a claim i'll have a tough time digesting; but i agree with the fact that Alexi Laiho is over-rated....saw thw solo battle between Alexi and Janne; Alexi was a dead duck.......
