Can someone reccommend a few Katatonia songs if you were trying to get someone into them?

Incredible song. After a couple close listens it really sank in. It sounds like they picked up where Chaosphere left off. This could be a landmark Meshuggah release.

I'm loving this record. They got more technical, leaned a bit more into death metal territory. I still dig the high/low trade off vocals. New drummer solid. I'm enjoying it.

Nay, mostly. They do have a few catchy songs, but they can't even come close to holding my attention for a whole record. The new record is extremely boring in most parts imo

Good album, great band. At this point, I still like Remission better though. Iron Tusk is a great single.

Love Arsis. At times they really remind me of old school Carcass, and that is a very good thing.

Have you heard "New Millennium Cyanide Christ" or "Corridors of Chameleons", or "Future Breed Machine"? Just curious. I think there's a lot of people who have only heard "Nothing", which for me at least was a letdown, unlike DEI and Chaosphere.

Good thing I'm not too worried about the opinions of the faceless internet masses, I suppose. That does not change my conclusion. You can love or hate Meshuggah but to say "they suck" is a very novice music opinion. They are very talented and unique musicans, fact, love them or hate them.

Sorry, but I will never buy into 'forced raw sound' as engineered on Pro Tools. Contrived much?
