oh believe me, i love the cd. I didnt know that this had been brought to attention already. It is a great song and cd none the less.

Anyone ever notice how the vocals on the chorus of "recreation day" get kind of blurred out. As soon as the guitars come in it gets muddy. You notice it more with headphones on, but it is a pretty big flaw in the production im surprised wasnt fixed when the cd was mixed.

im not complaining about the production, we allready know it has its flaws. what i am trying to bring to attention is the fact that the mp3s sound much better than the cd does. is it a different mix? Why would they use the worse sounding mix for the actual album?

Go to the Century Media website and download the Enemies Of Reality mp3 and tell me that the production quality of the mp3 isnt much better than that of the cd? Whats up with that? I even played both the mp3 and the cd in my computer thinking maybe it was the speakers, but the mp3 still...

The only two people I have heard being mentoned to replace Matt Barlow have been Ripper Owens and Tim Aymar (Control Denied). Personally I think Tim Aymar's vocals would fit Iced Earth very well, and would be the better choice. Plus... I dont think someone who sings for a Disturbed cover band...

How does these amps compare to each other, and which do you think is better? From what I have heard the AVT has more bass and gain and sounds more tube-ish, while the VS is a little clearer sounding..is this true?
