I dig it, nice work man!

I have been getting into vinyl more and more lately because I like listening to albums as a whole and not skipping around/jumping between albums. When I write songs I like writing in the context of an album because it ends up being greater than the sum of it's parts (if done well).

So are there any places that you do feel like people are having good meaningful discussions rather than just newbie Q&A time, or do you agree that most of that seems to just be happening in personal communiques (like fb, etc...). Sucks to think that the forum is dying and there is nothing to...

I just got the Jackson js 22 7 (the version with the maple fretboard) this past week to mess around on. So far I really like it, frets needed some work (some ends were suuuuper sharp and scraped up my hand while I played), but after a good setup it's pretty nice. Pickups are surprisingly decent...

I second Reelbus, I use it on most sessions. And dang it is cheap.

Yeah I always just see people using a cheap two channel interface (typically a focusrite), or on some occasions a behringer xenyx or equivalent mixer.

This is the first metal month product I may buy off the bat instead of waiting for the inevitable sale one year later. (I've also been listening to a lot of Karnivool lately so I guess I am particularly weak to resist this purchase.)

I've given it a few listens, a couple tracks I liked, overall not too interesting to me though. Mix is phenomenal (will have to check out that SOS article) and I say good for them for hustling so hard, they went from myspace era deathcore to mainstream success, what a feat!
