Not sure about the case cutting for the 3TM mod board, but the tranny can be mounted on the rear of the unit. And even then, the tranny upgrade is optional but apparently sounds amazing in conjunction with it.

The PCB will probably be a mound of solder by the time I'm done with it so I'll probably end up taking it to a tech, I've never touched a soldering iron in my life. Thanks.
