I agree, the guitar work is really fantastic and it's catchy stuff too. They transmit the right emotion and atmosphere. I wasn't a fan of growling back in 2001, but now I like many bands that have that type of vocals. As long as the vocals aren't screamed/screached/strained I like them...

My favorite tracks are Lies that bind and Dead Air. Tough choice bu i'll have to go with Dead Air due to the build up that leads to this awesome atmospheric sound storm!

I was at the Quebec city show, very good set list, but I was hoping that "Dead Air" would be play but wasn't. I had a chance to talk with Nathan Ellis and when I querried him about "Dead Air" he said it was probably his favorite song off of Dismantling Devotion and that the reason it wasn't...

Didn't you find that daylight dies sounded like old Katatonia ? It's very noticable on their song "I Wait". Katatonia gave a great show, but I hated that the venue closed the upper level of the venue. The second floor is the best place to be for an overall view of the stage. Other than that...

I seriously hate when people ask "is X a christian band". What is that going to change if they aren't or are? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ! a band is judged on it's music and lyrical themes not on a STUPID label (religion catagorisation) ...come on.

With many more listens to PIB my favorites are much easier to point out. 1. Katharsis 2. Infilct 3. Coming Home 4. Crow Me The whole record is simply amazing but those 4 songs tend to be on repeat several times more than others :grin:

They'll most likely tour again this summer and fall in support of their new CD which is suppose to be out by spring or early summer. I heard they might do a U.S tour this time, can't say for sure. Can't wait to put my hands on the next album and get to see their live performance for the 6th...
