What kind of Metalhead are you?

Pure fucking retardation. I picked Emperor on the first question, Mayhem on the third, and yet I'm a "True Metalhead", who lives only for Priest and Maiden. Faggotry, I say.

Who's stuff is the most diffucult to play(guit.)

Jason Becker. Fastest, cleanest sweeps in the history of mankind. His most simple playing rapes Yngwie's fat ass. www.jasonbecker.com

    Best Bands While Stoned

The Beta Band. "The 3 E.P.'s" by the Beta Band, actually, and especially the 3rd of the three. Minimal folktronica, totally brilliant, the bass player is a god, and the vocal layering puts all forms of grandiose Power Metal overdubbing to shame. Second only to Radiohead in mixing great...

    your favourites songs of borknagar

Any song that Asgeir wrote the lyrics to. It just seems strange that the band saves their greatest music for songs with his lyrics... Colossus, Genesis Torn, Inherit The Earth, etc., but maybe it does make sense to put the best with the best.

Cerebral torment <--- help me achieve my dreams!!!

Well, it's music... I think.... I dunno, stop jamming and write something worthwile, you've got a couple decent riffs... remember, just because it's a one-man-band experimental-whatever project, doesn't mean it can't be structed and coherent and musical and not festering ass-product...

Have you ever been in a concert which was recorded as a live album?

Hehe... Budgie live at Sunken Gardens in '98 or '99. I think I'm on the front cover somewhere.

Check out my band Beyond Fallen

Sounds like older Nevermore, which I don't like. Get some .13's or .14's and tune to B, brutalize the riffs a bit, and tell your drummer to get a double pedal, and y'all will sound like newer Nevermore, which I do like. And about the singer, I think tuning lower will make him sound better...

    History of Metal

There were a few scattered bands I'd consider peers of Sabbath... Hawkwind, MC5 at their most intense, a handful of others... but Zep and Purple are definately not on that list. They both influenced metal, the next generation of bands like Priest and the Scorpions, with the big-voiced frontmen...

The Ultimatemetal Forum Users Greatest Ever Album Poll

I refuse to even try to put these in proper order, although the first five are right.... 1. Emperor "Anthems" 2. Borknagar "Quintessence" 3. Dissection "Storm" 4. Arcturus "La Masquerade" 5. Satyricon "Nemesis" 6. Burzum "Filosofem" 7. Portal "Forthcoming" 8. Fear Factory...

    History of Metal

No, that's all it is. Sabbath = Metal Without them Kansas and Foreigner wouldn't have happened. Zeppelin = Power Rock I wouldn't even call them Hard Rock... the MC5 was Hard Rock. Seriously, what does "Whole Lotta Love" have to do with "War Pigs"?
