I e-mailed one of the promoters... supposedly they couldn't find an all ages venue in Brisbane for the show. Supposely the Arena said they didn't want to hold the show because it would be too rough. It all sounds a bit strange to me, considering shows the Arena has held in the past. I hope this...

I went to both the Brisbane show and the Sydney show. Brisbane fucking owned the Sydney show. They did play Forest of October :)

I'm seeing Opeth TOMORROW! (Fuck, it seems like I've waited forever)... and seeing them again on Sunday.

I've heard it from a few people. Maybe they'd called the Metro. Anyway, whoever really wants to go will make an effort to hang around before the show and find a ticket.

Dude, if you love Organasm... check out their CD before that, "Spiritech". That's one of my fave albums. It has "Road to Ubar", and a heap of other awesome songs. I always wondered how long it would take for Alchemist to get recognition. I could never understand why there'd only be 20 people...

I would say that Opeth is accessible. Why? Because friends of mine who aren't even into metal of any shape or form really dig Opeth. It's just quality music, no matter what genre you're into. BP is probably their most accessible yet. I loved it on first listen.
