Anybody like to see Demons & Wizards at Progower?

I just heard about the new album and the remasters, awesome news! I just wish it hadn't taken 15 years to do another album :tickled:

Fabio Lione, Rick Altzi, Mark Boals, Ralf Scheepers, and more....

Damn good album, really surprised me. It harkens back to early Avantasia :kickass:

Jani Liimatainen teases a second Cain's Offering album

I really hope they do another album...Gather The Faithful was excellent! \m/

Yo! Laser's Edge...can you get this?

Hi, will you be stocking Lingua Mortis Orchestra feat. Rage? It's available in Europe via Nuclear Blast, but I don't see any US distribution yet. I'd love to get the digibook CD/DVD.

What are you listening to today?

The new Thy Majestie is surprisingly good... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhAHAwdrF-Y

    Cain's Offering

I knew this would be the right place to ask...thanks for the info :)

    Cain's Offering

Has anyone heard any recent news regarding Cain's Offering? I loved their debut from 2009 (Gather The Faithful), but their forum here at UM seems dead, as is their MySpace, and no official site. It'd be a shame to see this band/supergroup go by the wayside...loads of talent.

Something for our loyal and patient fans

    I like that last riff...shredtastic!

    New Nightwish Single "Storytime"

Cool song, catchy as hell with some goof riffage, and the symphonic/choral layers are top-notch as usual, along with the overal production...sounds like a million bucks, and probably cost as much :goggly: I also love how Nightwish has offered instrumental versions for the last 2-3 albums...fun...

    Serenity suggestions?

It's hard for me to pick a fave, I love all three. As far as differences, the last two albums have a considerably larger and richer symphonic presence...and the choral elements seem more prominent as well.

Dragonland - Fire And Brimstone (new track)

I'm really diggin this, can't wait for the new album, Under The Grey Banner. Man, it's been about 5 years since Astronomy, which I loved.

    Iced Earth - Dystopia

Then prepare to be shocked...I'm not feelin' this album at all, and that's the first IE album I can say that about. Stu's vox are OK, but the songwriting feels very bland :(

    Delain vs. Epica?

Nothing against Delain, but Epica falls right in my wheelhouse in terms of elements that I really enjoy...melodic, symphonic, choral, heavy, and vocal duality.

    Symphony X - Iconoclast

Haha, I agree...it has a sweet instrumental section, one of the best on the album. I'm having a blast with Iconoclast :)
