What's wrong with a little reverb? My band did some stuff recently and we reverbed the vocals slightly and it gave a pretty decent sound...that and we had to use a few effects on the tracks we recorded. Personally, I think there's nothing wrong with a studio recording sounding like it was done...

Yeah that looked like a hell of a show. I didn't even make it and I'm thankful that you dudes got them to do it. Next year I'm gonna get my bro's in gear and some cash saved up and we're heading there... that's a bitch to be this close and be stuck looking at pictures.

You don't have a singer or what? My band is working on different songs for the different places we might be playing...alot of classic stuff, but on the side we've been working on The Philospher, Zombie Ritual. Pretty much whatever we think of and some Control Denied stuff.

This thread needs a little wake up call.. My band and I will be covering Crystal Mountain and we will be playing it and other Death songs at as many live shows as we can, so be ready for some DEMO SHIZNITE :err:. Wake up listeners of Death and breathe some life into this, I'll post the demo...

Yeah but posting on this site keeps the topic more on Death and Death fans. Instead of other bands or people arguing over which band is better and why.

No shit dude, some good work for having fun. All nit picking and crap aside, the midi drums and "first time growling" was pretty damn good.

Gonna be hitting the show in november when it gets to MN. Don't live there but it's the closest they get... and all I have to say is shit yeah.

That's some bullshit.. and the reason for not going to bars around here. Shoulda took your money back, found some more metal and played it, then repeated if need be. Or just took the money back for more beer. As for driving with the windows down and metal pooring out the window: hell yes...

Needs alot of work... sound more like punk with a touch of metal in there. Maybe it was just the recording job, but the melodies weren't really up to caliber with viking metal.

Really laid back tunes...
