Happy new year, i look forward to a new year of bitchin about In Flames!

I dont really listen to metal anymore but i still enjoy playing it, it gives you a different perspective, if its good or bad i dont know, its just different.

Because they arent cool, Opeth are way geeky in fact.

Lunar Strain is ok but some songs just dont belong on a In Flames album, some other songs have bits that just dont flow together, it does show the potencial the band had at the time and it sounds surprisingly good for a metal album debut from the early 90's, of course there are some mistakes...

Well a couple weeks ago i listened to these albums again and i thought that APP was boring as hell, TJR is still a jem though. I like the clean singing on APP a lot, i wish that had been introduced in the first soilwork albums (wich are great) but riff-wise APP is pretty boring.

People change, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I would give my left big toe to see this!!! I hope they make a DVD out of this.

Great band, they manage to sound fresh and completely different than the dream theater wannabes out there that infest progmetal, but i do think they have/had a problem, i do love Jorn Lande and he is truly one of the best singers ever to have lived, but if you are a Whitesnake fan (which i am)...

Very well executed stuff, obviously chris can pull off every megadeth rhythm or solo with ease.

Jesper, he may not be as good as Bjorn in terms of technical ability but is the best songwriter of the 2.

Why would i?

Very boooring songs, nothing they havent done before, not very good by their standards also ... come on In Flames, grow a pair of balls and innovate a little.

Remember those songs with Swano singing that were in the A´araq Zaraq Lucid Dreaming album by Therion? I'm a fan of Kelly Clarkson, really good singer.
