A little late in posting, but you described my experience with all four bands here in Sacramento last week -- a really good show -- Watch Them Die has a good CD out, the title track Bastard Son is what hooked me in... And I hear you about Dukes' sweat -- indeed, he was spitting into the front...

This band would be awesome to see...another one for the Europeans to see, I can't wait to hear the reviews...

Nice -- I'm dragging my brother and cousin along, convinced them that they cannot miss Overkill -- I saw them in May at Rock Hard in Germany, best band of the festival, I might add -- Blotz is a fucking maniac. Never heard Atrocity, sorry that I missed you at the Kreator gig, I couldn't make...

We leave in a few days -- thinking of things to do there, aside from the Sausage King. Yoli (my wife) and I will probably hit a few downtown bars, who knows. Any good ideas let us know! I believe the weather should be good, too.

I've always been a big Lefay fan, and I try to catch Imagika locally as often as I can. These two bands were the reason for my going, but now to have heard Katagory V I'm even more stoked.

I will add that, having never heard your band before and listening to the 4 dl's off the web, I am really looking forward to seeing you in Chicago! Only a few weeks away, can't wait.

Hawk -- you going to either the Eiffenar or Dynamo gigs? My first time to Europe and I should be there. Although I liked Bush's vox, I saw Belladonna here about two years ago and it was excellent. I wouldn't mind either one to be honest.

I follow the Hawk on this one -- I will say 2002-2003. I considered 87-88 to be the best until I realize that Immortal, Lefay, Soilwork (and the whole damn Swedish melodic death catalog) is simply too outstanding to ignore. The scene is different, but the music is top-notch. I was a bit too...

A banner year -- having not been to a festival ever before, I'll be at the Chicago Power Fest next month (Lefay - Imagika), followed by Dynamo in Holland (Testament -- Anthrax) and then the Rock Hard in Germany (Accept -- Overkill). Yeah!

Lefay won't have their CD released before the gig -- but I'd be OK with it if I could buy Devils on Both Sides from one of you all when I'm there...:grin: :grin:
