i didnt say you couldnt try it, just that i wouldnt recommend it. you can get just as amazing sounds with transient designers and eq

joeys kick is already compressed and processed. so i wouldnt recommend comping it more, just do a slight low shelf and knock it down a little bit.

I'd very much like to know as well, I bought it a while ago but only played with it a little bit. I hear alot of you turn off the amp sim in trillion and use a different one? How do you go about doing that?

I can't get anything with it. Im recording a metal band with terrible amps. So I have to do sims. I have nice clean DI tracks. And the drums and bass sound great and work well. But. Not being a guitarist myself, I can't dial in anything useful. Any tips? Different amps in pod, effects, heads...
