Hello. I like the balance between drums and vocals. However maybe the guitars would benefit from a little stereo image boost?

Funny thing they almost immediately responded and gave me a great detail of what's going on after I started this thread. They also gave me a temporary free 30-day license so I'm happy with it for now.

So I purchased Pro Tools monthly based subscription license last Sunday from Avid online store (I need it for my applied studies). I still haven't received my license, nor there's any information of the purchase on my Avid account, yet the money is being on hold to Avid on my bank account...

The kick was recorded through Beta 52A, which naturally doesn't have much highs. A bit poor choise for death metal, but that was our only option.. :P

Sorry about the MIDIs, I don't know why they are out of sync :/ but of course you can use the original tracks for triggering purposes. I actually didn't use the recorded kick at all, quite freely just put the kick hits where ever I wanted using MIDIs :P Nice to see you making your mixes. :D...

Nice mix you have Julien! Maybe a bit too compressed to my taste, but otherwise very nice! :) Drums are smashing like they should be. And sorry - no DIs for guitars :/

Hey, thanks for your mixes! Apparently there's something strange going on with the bottom snare mic... :D Strange sizzling, but that's just the cheap snare. I didn't use the bottom snare almost at all probably because of that reason. Anyway good work both of you! Especially with the guitars...

Thanks for you helpful replies. I've been busy with all my duties lately, but I'll get back to this once I have more time. Haven't had time to test the impedances yet. The cab I'm using is Framus Dragon 4x12. All the three different types of fuses in my amp have probably blown at least once...

Hello, I'm struggling with my Peavey 6505. It keeps blowing the fuses (not always the same one) regularly, and I really can't find any reason behind that. I've even tried all the different output load settings and the result is always the same. Otherwise than that, it sounds perfectly normal...
