sorry, but i still like machine head...as far as i'm concerned they're flying the flag that used to belong to Pantera for keeping a small real metal presence in the mainstream...i like to call it gateway metal, it's through bands like machine head and pantera that people get into bloodtstock...

o yeah, forgot to mention i like gothic stuff like tristania and type-o negative...also didn't mention the"too much fantasy" in the lyrics as mentioned above, 'cos i thought i'd get killed :p most of the time i can put up with it, and in parts even like it, but bands like Rhapsody and hammerfall...

yeah, think it's a bit of both the above - fancying the band and wanting to be sociable more/being more expected to conform. or something.

nah, i kinda bypassed that, for the most part...i'll admit i liked some crap at some point, but never actually bought nu-metal...i do however still wear reasonablybaggy pants, for comfort mainly, and also 'cos i don't care what people think cos i know i'm real metal on the inside :D

Gotcha! took me a while, but i tracked em down...seem pretty decent, pity they recently played at a local of mine and i didn't know...ah well, look forward to that then!

yeah, we tend to get more of the indie/punk kind round here...but for the most part they look pretty metal...i'm not as strict on my metal borders when it comes to nice looking ladies...
